Independence Primary School (IPS) is now accepting kindergarten registrations for the 2025-2026 school year. Families with children who will be five years old on or before August 1, 2025, are encouraged to begin the enrollment process.
To register, parents should visit the district website at
www.independence.k12.oh.us/new-student-registration and follow the outlined steps. Registration includes completing online forms through FinalForms, scheduling a parent-only appointment on either April 1 or April 16 at the Board Office, and bringing all required documents.
During the registration appointment, families will receive a kindergarten welcome folder containing important school information, key dates, and educational resources.
Kindergarten screening is scheduled for June 2 and 3 at IPS. This event provides an opportunity for incoming students to participate in assessments while enjoying a fun photo opportunity as they embark on their educational journey.
Parents with questions or scheduling conflicts can contact the IPS office at (216) 642-5870. Additionally, information regarding bus transportation sign-up will be sent out in May, with bus routes finalized in August.
