Independence High School's "Worst Case Scenario" class visited Cuyahoga Valley Career Center's Automotive Program. Students learned essential auto skills, including jump-starting a dead battery, checking tire pressure and tread, changing fluids, and changing a flat tire. CVCC automotive students from nearby districts taught the workshops.

The Worst Case Scenario class, taught by Jess Crooks, covers a variety of life skills, from fire safety to personal finance. This auto-focused field trip aligned with the curriculum, providing hands-on experience that could prove invaluable in emergency situations.
