Independence Primary School (IPS) hosted a Welcome Breakfast for their new elementary students this past September. Guidance Counselor Brooke Gradert organized this event which aimed to help new students feel welcomed and connected to the IPS school community.

The breakfast provided a warm welcome from IPS staff, a chance to meet new students and make friends, and fun activities and icebreakers for everyone to get to know each other. "This breakfast was a wonderful opportunity for new students to acclimate to the IPS school environment and feel at home," said Principal TJ Ebert. "We have 18 new students in grades 1-4; this did not include any new kindergarten students because they are all new."
