Dear Independence Families!
I am so excited for our first home football game of the season! As many of you know, our stadium had a significant facelift, with new home bleachers and a new press box. A lot of hard work has gone on behind the scenes to ensure this project was completed for our game tonight!
Ticket Prices for Independence Home Athletic Events: Adults $8.00, Students $5.00

We can’t wait for you to try out our new bleachers this evening. Although there are finishing touches that will take place over the next week, they are safe and ready to go. Please be aware of the different seating sections in our new bleachers. When looking at the bleachers, you will notice our band to the far left and our student section to the far right. The two center sections of the bleachers are reserved for parents, family, community members, and other supporters of Independence Schools. The left column of center seating will be reserved for our senior citizens. We ask that the first three rows remain open for our senior citizens. We have attached a document outlining the different locations. We will add markers to the seats in the upcoming weeks to better signal that designated section. You will also notice that we have our freshly landscaped areas roped off. We expect this to last the entire football season and ask that you stay off the roped-off regions to allow the grass to grow.
As we kick off another thrilling year of Blue Devil athletics, we're excited to come together and celebrate our student-athletes' hard work, dedication, and spirit. These events are more than just competitions; they showcase our community's unity and support.
To ensure that every game, match, and meet remains a positive experience for all, we'd like to remind everyone of some key expectations:
Cheer with Pride: Let's fill our stands with enthusiastic support for our Blue Devils. Your positive energy fuels our athletes' performance!
Respect All Participants: Remember, players, coaches, and officials are all essential parts of the game. Treat everyone with the respect they deserve.
Be a Role Model: Our younger fans look up to adults for cues on how to behave. Let's set a stellar example of sportsmanship.
Keep It Clean: Please help us maintain our facilities by properly disposing of trash and following venue-specific guidelines.
Stay Positive: Win or lose, let's focus on the effort, growth, and camaraderie our athletes display.
Creating a Healthy Environment: To ensure a positive experience for everyone, we kindly remind all Independence fans and spectators that our school grounds, including parking lots and fields, are designated as alcohol and tobacco-free zones. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a healthy and family-friendly atmosphere at all our events.
